TATTOO AND BODY PIERCING
". . . . . you shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:28 ESV
This is only a couple of the many rules Almighty God stated for His chosen people of Israel. They were to strictly obey them in order to live a life pleasing to Him. Failure to comply meant strict punishment, often times it meant death to those in violation.
What do you think they mean to us today?
I’m not sure what that means in today’s society…but I’m glad I never got any tattoos. ;-)….sounds like if I had I might be in a heap of trouble! I’m just checking out your site. Love you, dad!
