Treason and Insurrection

What do these words mean? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

treason is; 1: the betrayal of a trust :treachery. 2:the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign’s family.

insurrection is; an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.

At the start of each new U.S. Congress, in January of every odd-numbered year, newly elected or re-elected Members of Congress – the entire House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate – must recite an oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well andfaithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Each and every member of our Government including the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Executive branch including both the President and the Vice President and all the Secretaries, and last but not least the Judicial branch which includes all judges both state and federal are required by law to take an oath similar to the above oath which Congress takes.

Judges:   Each justice or judge of the United States shall take the following oath or affirmation before performing the duties of his office:

 “I, ________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ________ under the Constitution and laws of the UnitedStates.  So help me God.”

I doubt that it takes much more than five or six years of formal education to read and to understand these words. So, if any one person or a group of persons, many within our government, fail to fulfill the obligations that they have each sworn to–––or at least affirmed to, they have committed treason and insurrection. They have become of their own choosing enemies of the United States of America.

Is what I have just stated difficult to understand? The Constitution of the United States of America is the only thing that separates us from all other countries and their forms of government. In America, per the Constitution the individual is a very important person, so important that it guarantees the individual rights.

How long will we the people of these United States of America allow these progressives, these socialist, these fascist, and these communist to tread all over us? They are ignoring the very document that represents our lifeblood. The Constitution is a powerful tool in the hands of a moral and honest people.

IT SEEMS THAT THE MEDIA IS EITHER IN BED WITH THE GOVERNMENT OR TOTALLY AFRAID.

I was told about the Williams/Snowden interview and did my best to find a complete copy.   There were several, however, they have been removed.

Why?   Could it be that there was way too much uncomfortable truth involved in that interview?   Uncomfortable for the scoundrals that wanted the truth to remain hidden!   Could it be that a few more Americans might realize the corruption within our government? Heaven forbid that this should leak out! !

Snowden has done nothing to harm the security of America!   On the contrary!   He is one of the few trying to reveal a cancer that is aggressively attacking our government from within.

I have always said that this young man.   Snowden, is a patriot and not a traitor.   Unlike that Sargent that was just traded for five serious terrorist leaders.   Surely the most blatant of liberals can smell a rat within our executive branch and our congress.   Believe me there are many more that one rat.   America needs a pied piper.   The rat population is growing exponentially in Washington DC and throughout America.   Yet no one is doing anything about it.   Where is the free press?   Is the American media no longer free, or have they become a bunch of bed wetting crybabies?   Something is wrong with this picture?

(Since the time that I first posted this post on Facebook, more of the interview has been posted on the NBC’s website.  But, the start to finish unedited interview is still not available.  Williams makes comments and judgements as the interview progresses, always placing his slant between the interview segments that NBC has allowed to be placed there.  This method is typical of the media of the 21st Century to always place their spin on their version of the truth, or what they  want the truth to be.)

It’s not black against white or smart over dumb or rich over the poor or even the haves over the have nots.  Inequity is when evil wins over good, or when deceit wins over truth.   It has always been this way, and it always will be until the end of time as we now know it.   I believe the approaching of the end is near.  Soon born-again Christians will be raptured out of here, and soon thereafter evil will be eternally defeated.   I’m looking forward to that day.   In the mean time we are in for some interesting times.

There are many things that make America a great nation. One that stands out is the fact that our founding fathers realized where our rights come from and stated it in the Declaration of Independence. Nine out of ten people that I ask the simple question ‘Where do our rights come from?’ Don’t have a clue. When I tell them that they come from God they almost always say “Oh, okay, I knew that.”  I recently had a guy answer my question with a question, he asked, “You mean our God given rights?”  He answered my question correctly with his question but still he probably didn’t have a clue.  Their answers or  their  failure to answer indicates that they seldom give God a second thought. The first two sentenses in the Second paragraph of The Declaration of Independence reads:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

I CHALLENGE YOU!

Take a little survey and ask everyone you meet if they know. If they don’t know, then tell them, and if they do then encourage them to pass it on.

If you already knew this, great!  If you didn’t know it, now you do. Either way pass it on.

The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude is more important than facts.
Attitude is more important than the past.
Attitude is more important than education, than money, than circumstance, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do.
Attitude is more important than appearance, than giftedness, than skill.
It will make or break a company.
It will cause a church to soar or sink.
It will be the difference in a happy home and a home of horror.

Everyone has a choice everyday of the attitude they will embrace.

We cannot change our past.
We cannot change the tick of the clock.
We cannot change that march toward death.
We cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.

BUT, we can choose the attitude that we embrace.

Whether we like it or not, attitude means everything to us and to everyone near and dear to us. When the bottom drops out or calamity comes, we can act aggressively and blame others, or we can act passively and submerge ourselves in self-pity. Either way, embracing these sorts of attitudes will drive others away and we may eventually find ourselves alone, or worse, we may find ourselves surrounded by others of a similar attitude.

 Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.

How do we cause our chooser to choose a good attitude when we are down? Good question. If you and I are truly born again into the family of God then we can apply the scripture below and our life will improve immensely.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8

If you are not born again into God’s family you need to consider accepting the most wonderful and valuable gift ever offered to mankind. Accept the gift of Salvation. A starting place is John 3: 16. Check it out, this gift will change your life, and it is totally free.

Jesus Christ spoke these words Himself. If you are a human you are part of the world and being of this world means that God loves you more than you can comprehend.
